10/18/2024I was really disappointed to find out that the war mold and wire were not covered under the 3 year warranty.Also to find out that the cost to repair would be $200 after spending $5,000 on the hearing aids. Pretty ridiculous!!!! Obviously not happy as I was never told this! -

Holly was so nice and explained everything to us about how hearing aid technology has developed and improved since my dad purchased his hearing aids five years ago. He LOVES his new hearing aids and there is a HUGE difference in his hearing. -

02/22/2024My mom was having a problem with her hearing aids and so I was looking for a new audiologist I came across Hearing Health Connection online. Looking at the website I thought this might be a good fit for mom so I called and spoke with Holly. She took the time and spoke with me and answered all my questions. It felt like God had led me to her and after meeting Holly I believe she was the angel we were looking for to help mom. Has everything been perfect for mom in this transition with new hearing aids? No, but has Holly been listening to mom and working with her to get them adjusted for her? Yes. Moms hearing life has improved and so far after a month she is quite happy with them. Thank you Holly you are so sweet and when you smile you light up the room. -

12/31/2023Visit with Ms Reidt was informative and cordial. I noticed a significant enhancement of my ability to sort critical information from the background cacophony. Regarding your sales strategy/business model, I was significantly disappointed. In my lifetime, will never, ever make a purchase of this dollar amount based on a 15 minute experience. Ms. Reidt and I came to an agreement that the price offered would not expire the date after a mere 24 hours, rather it would be good for 10 days. It is unfortunate that you do not offer "real life" test drives so that the customer can experience your product in his/her real life circumstances. It is not likely that I can vet your product in the next few days, there follows the likelihood of making a fully refundable purchase. -

10/20/2023Stopped by the office to see if the they could help me. My mother is non ambulatory and the audiologist said she could come to my mother's residence to make a new mold as she lost the ear insert to her hearing aid. I did not ask, she said she could come out in a few weeks. Called a week later and I was told she needed her managers approval and her manager was out of town. Called 3 weeks later and was told the manager would not allow her to visit. I called and got that information after three weeks of waiting. It would have been nice to know that sooner so I could make other arrangements. Don't offer what you can't do. -

05/05/2023I was greeted very nicely when I arrived for my appointment . She explained the paperwork that had to be filled out. Holland and I talked about what I was looking for in hearing aids and explained everything and answered all my questions. She really informed me on the different types of hearing aids and what she thought would work best for me. I enjoyed the time at the appointment and left there with a lot to think about with what I learned from her. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for hearing aids. 11/25/2022I HATE MY HEARING AIDS I BOUGHT from Holly. HOLLY is just a sales lady she doesn't really care about your hearing health. I am so frustrated and disappointed with this product. I used it twice since buying it over a year ago. Update: Thank you for your response to my review. It seems like you are more concerned about authenticity of my review rather than the sleazy sales rep. Rest assured I bought my hearing aids from your facility, the purchase date was 7/30/21. You charged my credit card 1,399, my insurance covered the other 4k plus. If you have my phone number you should easily be able to pull up my account. I am not going to call you regarding resolving this issue. I created my review to better educate people looking to buy hearing aids. Please be cautious when dealing with Holly, she not looking out for your best interest, she is just looking to sell you a product any hearing aid even when she has no knowledge of the brand or product. -

Mom was amazed at how much better she could hear and will be fitted with her set soon. One payment and your set with free visits, service and adjustments. Great friendly and efficient service! Highly recommend if you or your loved ones need this service. -

02/11/2017Because your hearing is not covered by ANY insurance company I deeply appreciate that they ONLY charge you for the hearing aid(s) themselves. I've never been charged for anything else. Their service is exceptional & very personable. I highly recommend them to anyone. -

12/14/2021When I first called to make an appointment, I spoke with a lovely woman named Patty. She was so upbeat and friendly. She was able to give me an appointment within two days. I went to the office, looking forward to meeting Patty. She was so very kind and friendly -- I felt so at ease! She then introduced me to Holly. Holly had a big smile and answered my questions and made me feel very comfortable. After talking with Holly, I also met Steve, who was very friendly. All in all, my visit to West Shore Hearing was exemplary. Patty, Holly, and Steve are wonderful. Please keep up the good work, guys! Thank you so much. -

09/18/2021I have needed hearing aids for the past decade. It's an extremely difficult realization to need hearing aids at the age of 30. I decided to shop around before deciding to go to West Shore. The office has the dream team when it comes to hearing care. The receptionist is great she was on the phone with my insurance for hours to make sure my hearing aids were covered. Holly the Hearing Instrument Specialist was so patient with me, she let me try several products until we found a hearing aid I felt comfortable in. It is my first time wearing hearing aid it is really important for me to find an office that is going to understand my concerns, West shore has met those high expectations. I have never had an issue scheduling appointments or getting a hold of any of the staff when I need assistance with my hearing aids. I strongly suggest if you are in the market for hearing to check out West Shore, because it will save you alot of time and also you have a great staff dedicate to making sure you are hearing at your best. -

07/16/2021When I bought my hearing aids, I was happy to discover that future hearing tests, adjustments, repairs, and cleaning were included at no extra expense. During my visits, all service has been friendly and helpful. In my last visit the capability of my hearing aids was expanded and the sounds became even clearer than before. I have a lot of faith in WSHC and am glad that I chose them. -

Apparently the closer that day was a visiting sales representative and is not employed there. The result I had with him should not reflect on this business in a negative way; so I'm amending this review to a five star. -

12/05/2018Reviewing the reviews, I feel some what disturbed. The one negative review from five years ago doesn't fit thus an injustice with the new management operation I now have great satisfaction & confidence in Bob Snyder's expertise. The new turnover of Management has totally reinstated the professionalism I once felt back @ the beginning of the onset of W.S Hearing opening up business. My experience w/Bob's expertise/competitance have been hardly short of exemplary. When I take a hearing issue to him, if he doesn't have the confidence of full knowledge of the issue/answer in his tool bag of knowledge, he contacts whoever he needs to get the answer right there, to fully resolve my issue. No just winging-it on a trial & error attempt in his shop~! Under the old management I was very close to going elsewhere, which I had researched. The professionalism seemingly fell by the wayside. Fortunate for me, Bob came into the picture, before I made that drastic mistake. My hearing Impairment is severe enough that I am presently using the most powerful aid available . Once my hearing diteariates beyond these capacity, I am no longer a candidate for hearing aids, so my level of hearing is totally in Bob's hands. To continue further would only make this look too sugar-coated & fraudlent. So let me just summerize, w/Kudos to W.S.Hearing Ctr. for bringing Bob Snyder into my hearing-aid care/maintainence needs~! -

06/30/2020I have been going to West Shore for over 5 years now and since Bob retired it seems like you don't get the same great customer service he provided. When I would go in when Bob was there he was very thorough and cleaned and serviced my hearing aids and listened to me if I had an issue. He would change my wax guards for me etc . I went to my appointment yesterday had my hearing test then saw someone else for my results. I told them I was having issues with my hearing aids and he said well they are 5 years old you will start having issues. He had me put in new hearing aids as soon as I sat down. He said have you thought about getting new ones and I said yes but they are not in my budget this year. He said well you know you can withdrawal money from your 401K plan and pay for them. I said excuse me I will not do that. He just kept pushing me to buy new ones. He said I can apply for credit and make payments and I said I do not want to do that. He never looked or cleaned my hearing aids. Never asked me if I needed batteries or scheduled me for my next appointment. Guess what they just lost a customer I will be going elsewhere for my hearing aids. -

11/22/2013Since I purchased my aids at the West Shore Hearing Center over two years ago, there have been multiple problems u2013 not only with the aids themselves, but with poor customer service, lack of apathy, and lack of professionalism displayed by the staff. There are times when I had to call at least a dozen times to reach someone, which is something I experienced quite often, turning a minor inconvenience into a major headache. When I received the answering machine, the calls would go unreturned. I also had to make several unexpected stops to the office to deal with problems with the hearing aids, including rectifying a poor original fitting, battery drainage problems and wax trap complications. For years, I experienced problems with the aids and felt those problems could have been identified earlier u2013 when the product was still under warranty. Yet, it was not suggested that we send the aids to the manufacture until after the warranty expired. These inconveniences were bad enough on their own, and were made significantly worse by the customer service I received. I have never experienced such awful service before and hopefully never will again. My intent with this review u2013 along with my letter to the Better Business Bureau u2013 is to warn potential customers of the frustrations that I experienced. I highly suggest checking out Associated Otolaryngologists of PA (Hershey office). Theyu2019ve worked to correct, to the best of their ability, the damage done from the West Shore Hearing Center. -

12/18/2020My parents, Don & Shirley Velozo, just received their new hearing aids from Holly Reidt, HIS at West Shore Hearing Center in Camp Hill, PA. They are extremely pleased with the hearing aids so far. More importantly, the service from the reception (Alicia) to the provider (Holly) was above and beyond anything they expected. Holly was very pleasant, accommodating, professional, & very knowledgeable. She was also very patient while educating us and made it very clear that we could call any time at all if we had further questions or concerns. It was a pleasure doing business with Holly and the staff there. We would highly recommend West Shore Hearing Center!!
