Mark Kowalski, BC-HIS

Mark Kowalski spent years in the world of business, including some time as the VP/General Manager of a hearing aid distributor in Maryland. Then in 2009, he lost the hearing in his right ear. At that point Mark decided that he wanted to work one-on-one with patients, instead of in the corporate office.

He promptly earned his license, followed by his Board Certification. Today, Mark constantly updates his knowledge base by attending seminars, workshops, and lectures hosted by top names in the industry.

Mark talks with his patients first and foremost to find out what they are experiencing. He then administers hearing tests, diagnoses problems, and when appropriate, makes recommendations on different technologies that can improve the patient’s ability to hear well. He also handles the programming of hearing aids and routine maintenance to help keep them functioning at a high level.

Mark is a total math nerd and has a degree in Mathematics. March 14th is his favorite date (Happy Pi Day)!

He has been married to his lovely bride for over 25 years and they have two wonderful sons.
